ABOUT CHILDREN

We do not intentionally gather personal information, such as first and last name, email address, postal address, etc. from visitors who are under the age of 16. If a child under 16 submits personal information to Sapient and we learn that the personal information is the information of a child under 16, we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible. A note to users outside of Singapore. Although we do not collect information from you, if you are a non-Singapore user of the Sapient Site or SapientSwarm, by visiting the Sapient Site or SapientSwarm and providing us with any information, you acknowledge and agree that the information you provide, including personal information may be used for the purposes identified in the Privacy Policy. In addition, your personal information may be processed in the country in which it was collected and in other countries, including Singapore, where laws regarding processing of personal information may be less stringent than the laws in your country. The only personal information about you that we collect is information you voluntarily give us via direct contact from you, such as voluntarily signing up to participate in the SapientSwarm game, lobby, chat or other features that may become available. We will only use your data for the purpose you provided it and to support our mutual relationship, such as responding to your inquiries or processing your application for employment with Sapient or participating in competitions or events organized by Sapient. Chat on SapientSwarm is not archived and will be cleared by the Moderator before a new session or from time to time.

We will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We will not share your personal information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which you provided it. For instance, we may disclose your personal information to a contractor or service provider we use to support our business or develop content provided they are bound to keep your personal information confidential and to use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We use service providers, such as Amazon, for data storage. Any vendor that we retain is not allowed to use information they receive from us for any other purpose that to perform the services we have contracted them to perform. Such vendors will never barter, trade, or sell access to your information.
